I also would want to reinstall the Goodsync app eventually but would be afraid of it brining back the automatic. scpt from running at all but have no idea how it starts and how to stop it. If I click the X or if I just let it stop of it's own accord it will still automatically run again about 5-15mins later. If I click the X to stop the script running it shows the following:
Now I have actually removed the app from the computer but the script keeps trying to run, however because the file is not there it does not open any web page. It seems to be related to an app I had called Goodsync (it was the paid for full version, ) and previously when I had the app installed it would open a webpage asking why I was uninstalling the app, when in reality I was not uninstalling the app. From my research it seems to be an Automator file. The file name is RemoveGoodsyncHandler.scpt (see screenshot below). scpt file running with a spinning cog appearing in the menu bar.
